Attention all MHS students: Today is the first day of Homecoming week. Be sure to kick it off right by going to tonight’s fall bonfire and pep rally at Browning Field at 7:30. And directly after the bonfire, head over to the football field to watch the Monday Night Movie: “Spider-Man.” The cost is $2 or two canned goods to be donated to The Student Hunger Drive. Be sure to bring a blanket to sit on as chairs will not be allowed.”
This message is for all MHS students: please be aware of and make arrangements for this Wednesday’s half day. All students will report to Wharton Field House at 8:10 for Homecoming coronation, an activities fair, and student vs student and student vs staff volleyball games. You will not need your book bag or Chrome Book; however, the concession stand will be open if you’d like to purchase drinks and snacks. MetroLink will be dropping off at Wharton but be aware that your route may have changed. Students will be dismissed at 11:10 and are encouraged to attend float-building for your class’ float in the afternoon. Listen to announcements for information regarding your class float. Please plan accordingly for the half day, which is a required attendance day and counts towards finals, and plan to have some fun at a new Homecoming activity for everyone to enjoy.
