The Dispatch-Argus and Bi-State Sportsman’s Association are looking for qualified applicants to fill some summer positions. For more information, see Mrs. Thompson in the Counseling Center.

Volunteer Opportunities: Rip Roar Events is looking for some volunteers for their youth Triatholon series this summer held in Bettendorf. Again, for more info see Mrs. Thompson.

Kelly Services is looking for employees to work through the summer or longer. Must be 18 to apply and no experience is necessary. For more information see Mrs. Thompson in the Counseling Center.

The Moline Boys’ tennis team finished tied for 25th in class 2A at the State meet last week.  Representing Moline in singles were Shaddy Khalafallah and Shiv Puri.  Shaddy won two matches and reached the final 16 in 2A.  That was the highest finish by a Moline Boy since 2000.

Congratulations to the boys’ baseball and girls’ softball teams.  Each clinched regional titles over the weekend!

Reminder to seniors:  If you know what college you will be attending in the fall, order your final transcript through Parchment, making sure to choose “Hold for Final Grades.  If you use the Send Now option your transcript will send immediately and your college will not receive your Final Transcript.  Once finals grades are completed all Final Transcripts will be sent.  All colleges require a Final Transcript, so failure to complete this process will cause unnecessary issues for you in the fall.  Final transcripts cannot be sent without your permission and will only be sent through Parchment.

If you were recognized as a President’s Education Award winner at Convocation, please go to the main office and ask Mrs. Woods for your certificate.

Congratulations to Madeline Reddy for her selection to the Young Emerging Writers Summer Internship Program sponsored through Midwest Writing Center, Rock Island. MHS is proud of your acceptance and we look forward to your contributions to The Atlas, the Midwest Writing Center’s literary journal featuring the best work produced by the interns over the course of the program.

All students with an elevator key or clear backpack must return them to the clinic by the last day of school.  Also, any medication in the clinic must be picked up by a parent or guardian.
