Attention MHS students: Come one. Come all, and follow the call of the disco ball. Yes, students, you heard right, the Moline High School journalism department is sponsoring a fun new dance here at MHS this year: The Disco Dance. The dance will be held in the West Gym, which will be completely decorated for the event, on Thursday, April 13 from 7-10 pm. (There is no school that Friday because of Easter weekend). Dress for the dance is casual 70’s inspired clothing, so rummage through your parents’ and grandparents’ closets, make a trek to your local thrift shop, or wear something you already own. Tickets go on sale at the bookstore and in the cafeteria during lunch the Monday we get back from spring break and are $7. Go with a date or a group of friends, but you won’t want to miss MHS’s only casual theme dance of the year. Start planning your outfit and dance moves now!
