CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS
The Debate Team will meet in Ms. Guerdet’s room, E215, every Monday after school. Practices will be held from 3-4:30 PM on Mondays. Feel free to stop in if you are interested in hearing more about debate. See Ms. Guerdet or Ms. Finneran if you have any questions.
Attention Crime Stoppers: Please check your emails for very important information regarding the parade tomorrow.
Please join Sports Unlimited and Special Olympics in our float building right after school today in room D132. Today is the last day for float building and we need all members to help!
Attention Line O’Type editors: there will be a brief meeting after school today in B206, Mrs. Norcross’s room, to discuss the upcoming issue, training, and work nights. Please see Mrs. Norcross if you are unable to attend.
There will be a History Club meeting today after school in room E214.
French Club will meet in Ms. Ciucci’s room, J323, today after school. If you are walking in the parade with French Club, please make sure to stop by.
Students in Authentic Voices will meet in room D137 immediately after school today to prepare for the Homecoming Parade.
Interact Club will meet today after school in J128. We need as many people as possible to finish the float and to finalize plans for the parade.
Art Club: Please meet in room E111 after school tomorrow for lunch and decorating.
Natural Helpers bonfire is Wednesday, September 28th at Stephens Park in Moline. It will start at 6:00 PM. There is a sign-up sheet in the Counseling Center for what food to bring.
Attention juniors: There still is time for you to sign up for the PSAT that occurs on October 15th. The purpose of this exam is to see if you can qualify for National Merit Scholarships. The cost is $25 and you may sign up with either Mrs. Thompson or Mr. Bodeen in the Counseling Center this week.
NHS members, we need 9 more people to sign up for the field trip. Please see Mrs. Ryser or Mrs. Thompson in the Counseling Center today if you are planning to go.
MHS students who are interested in Computer Game Design/Computer Programming: There is a new Exploring group starting next month. To find out more information about this opportunity, please come to the Counseling Center.
Homecoming T-shirts are on sale during lunch in the cafeteria for only $10. Pick up a t-shirt to wear to the parade and take a selfie by the Lion Tamer.
ComedySportz tickets are on sale at the Bookstore for only $3. Enjoy improv comedy periods 5 through 7 on Friday before the parade – please remember to have your teachers sign your ticket.
