Attention Students: Art Club will be meeting today in room E114 right after school. All students are welcome to come.
Attention all Line O Type reporters: This is a reminder that if you were assigned a story for this month’s issue, all stories are due to your editors by 5:00 PM today. Speak to your editor or Mrs. Norcross in B206 if you have questions.
Attention athletes: FCA will be meeting tomorrow morning at 7:15 in E114. Please join us for donuts and fellowship!
There will be a Quad City Scholars meeting after school on Wednesday January 20 in E204. Please be prompt.
Attention all Kaleidoscript staff: We will have our first meeting of the semester after school this Thursday in B215 at 3:15. We are moving into production mode! Be there!
The Buick Achievers Scholarship is now available to graduating seniors. It has a due date of February 29.
The Janice M. Scott Scholarship is now available and has a due date of March 31.
Both scholarships may be accessed from the Counseling Department’s website.
The CBAI Community Bank Scholarship is now available to graduating seniors. Applications may be printed off from the Counseling website. This scholarship has a due date of February 3.
The Moline High School Class of 1945 is offering a scholarship to graduating seniors at MHS. Applications may be accessed from the Counseling Website. This scholarship has a due date of April 15, 2016.
Spring sports start Monday Feb. 29th. Any student interested in participating in a spring sport must have a current physical and parent permission form on file in the Athletic office. Please see Mrs. Valladares in the Athletic office with any questions.
Any girl interested in Track: There will be a brief meeting in room E301 right after school on Wednesday to sign up for Girls Track. If you cannot attend the meeting, please see Mr. Bohnsack in E301.
Auditions for this year’s musical – Fiddler on the Roof – will be held today and tomorrow in the Choir Room C125. Be prepared to sing 16 measures of a Broadway musical piece of your choice and read from the script. You must provide your own music for the accompanist during auditions. Sign-ups are outside the choir room, please sign up for an audition time. If you have any questions or concerns, see Ms. Callahan.
Congratulations to the Special Olympics Basketball team who got first place at the District Tournament in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. The team is now headed to State in March. Great job to Dakotah Gardner, Gracie Reilly, Jared Sountris, Shondel Rice, Reilly Timi and Eric Mugabe.
Students: Plan ahead to stay for extra help at After School Tutoring tomorrow. Tutoring is available from 2:00 to 3:30 P.M. in room B325. Take advantage of this opportunity to get assistance with your assignments.
