The Panoramic pictures have arrived!  If you ordered one, there is one with your name on it in the Main Office.  Please come to pick them up before or after school or during your lunch.

Are you interested in traveling to Asia in the summer of 2017? Bring your parents to a planning meeting on January 7th at 6:00 pm in the Media Center just before the Financial Aid Night in the Cafeteria at 7:00. We have several tours and price ranges from which to choose. If you want to travel, and cannot be at the meeting please see Mrs. Mesick in the media center prior to the 7th.  You do NOT want to miss this opportunity!!

Extra Tutoring Sessions will be offered the first two days of break.  On Monday, December 21st and Tuesday, December 22nd, students are encouraged to come in to complete missing assignments, make up tests, or get help on homework assignments.  Extra Tutoring Sessions will be available from 8:00 a.m. until noon on those two days in room B325.  If you need to make up missing work or tests, please coordinate in advance with your teacher to get the materials submitted to the main office.  If you just want to get some extra help, plan to show up any time during those two mornings.  Take advantage of this opportunity to improve your grades.

2016 Graduates: Please check your name on the diploma list outside the Registrar’s Office.  This is how it will appear on your diploma.  Make all changes with Mrs. Valdes.  Changes made after January 15, 2016 will cost $5.00.

There will be a Kaleidoscript meeting tomorrow in B215 @ 3:15.  Please come and share some holiday cheer! We will also be discussing plans for second semester.

Sports Unlimited is collecting school supplies for Syrian orphans.  Collections boxes are in the main office, J130, and the Library.  There will also be a collection box during lunchtime in the cafeteria.  Thank you for helping these children.

The Moline Public Library will host a Financial Aid presentation tonight at 6:30. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission will discuss what you will need to fill out the FAFSA and find other sources of financial aid.

On Saturday, the Academic Team completed in the Peoria River City Classic Scholastic Bowl Tournament.  The Varsity team of Divya Badri, Adrian McDevitt, Tara Krishnan, Nathan Fields, Max Park, Shawn Wherry, and Alexander Hansen earned 3rd place in their division.

Not to be outdone, the JV team of Riya Jain, Jason Fly, Colin Stewart, Mandeep Kaur, Shiv Puri, and Courtney DeClercq brought home a first place trophy in their division!  Congratuations!

Art Club volunteers for face painting please see Mrs. Replinger in E111 today.  We meet at Butterworth at 5:00 tonight and Tuesday.

COUNSELING CENTER

The RIA Federal Credit Union is now offering three scholarships in the amount of $1000 to graduating seniors.  The due date for this scholarship is February 15 and applications may be accessed from the counseling website.
