To any and all girls interested in Moline girls’ basketball, please attend a brief meeting this Friday in the Driver’s Education room B152 at 3:15 P.M.  If you can’t make it, please see Coach Ford.

Any girl interested in trying out for the 2015-2016 MHS Contemporaires, must pick up a tryout form from the athletic office. Tryouts will be held on Friday, June 5. Clinic dates are June 2 and June 3.  Please contact Mrs. Lawrence (B301) if you have any questions.

For all young men who are interested in playing football next year:  On Monday, June 1st at 3:15 P.M. in the East Gym summer schedules will be distributed.  See you there!

If you are interested in detasseling this summer, come by the Counseling Center and get your application today.

Any students 16 years old and above are eligible to volunteer at the Moline Public Library over the summer.  If you are interested in gaining some valuable experience and volunteer hours, please see Mrs. Ryser in the Counseling Center.

SPORTS

Any wrestler wanting to attend Team Camp in the Dells this summer, please see Mr. Thompson today to get your forms.

Any girl interested in trying out for the 2015-2016 MHS Contemporaires, please pick up a tryout form from the Athletic Office.  Tryouts begin June 2.

Girls Track:  Any girl who has not turned in their uniform needs to do so immediately to Coach Bohnsack.  Uniforms that have not been returned will result in a fine.

Important dates for all returning athletes or if you plan on going out for a sport next year:

Free Physicals:  Aug. 3rd at 7pm (Moline Community Health Care 1106 4th Avenue Moline)

Sports RallyAug. 20th

Parent Permission Forms have been updated and will require ALL athletes and parents to sign.  NEW THIS YEAR, the forms are online!!!  This can all be done when your parent registers you. Once again, it must be done before you participate in a practice.

Reminder to seniors: If you know what college you will be attending in the fall, stop by the registrar’s office and sign for your final transcript, before the end of the school year.  All colleges require a final transcript, so failure to do this will cause unnecessary problems for you in the fall. Final transcripts can’t be sent without your permission, so please see Mrs. Valdes in the Registrar’s Office.

This is a reminder for any student currently using an elevator key.  Remember elevator keys MUST be turned into the clinic by the last day of school.  If you are no longer using your key, you may turn it in today.

If you haven’t purchased a year book, the student body will be able to buy one on the morning of May 21st at the bookstore.  Supplies are very limited this year, so purchase your book as soon as you can.  You don’t want to miss out!

The girls’ track and field team needs to go to Wharton today to return their uniform.  Congratulations to the team on a great season and to Hailey Cook on advancing to state in Disc and Keely Glenn on advancing to state in Shot.

Last call for yearbooks!  Yearbook prices will increase next week – so get your yearbook this week for $60.00.

Due to computer based testing going on this week, there will be no bells between periods 2 and 3, periods 5 and 6, and periods 6 and 7.  This schedule will be in effect every day this week except for Wednesday.  Students and staff need to monitor time closely so that class periods release and begin at the appropriate times.  The bell schedule is available on the back of the student planners.  Please maintain a quiet testing environment in the halls outside the computer labs on second and third floors.  We appreciate your cooperation.  Thank you!
