Drama Club is cancelled for today.
MHS Book Club will be meeting today in the library during your lunch.
Crime stoppers will meet today at 3:10 in Mrs. Mahieu’s room C123 (the pit).
The Interact Club will have a meeting Wednesday in E-301 at 3:10 to discuss fundraisers and how this will help our global initiative. Also, we will be looking to determine our school project.
This is a reminder to all Line O’ Type reporters: All stories for this month’s issue are due today by 5:00. See your editor or Mrs. Norcross in B206 if you’re having trouble.
Attention Yearbook and Line O’ Type Staffs: Please come to the Publication’s Office directly after school on Wednesday. We will be taking the group photos for the yearbook at that time. Don’t miss it or you will not be in this year’s “M.”
Attention sophomores and juniors: Applications for next year’s Link Crew are now available in the Counseling Center, B107, B217, and E314. Be sure to pick up the correct application – bright blue colored application for returning Link Leaders and bright pink application for new applicants. Current Link Leaders must re-apply if interested in participating next school year. All applications must be submitted by 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25th.
Looking for a volunteer opportunity? Willard Elementary is seeking students to help with their school carnival on Friday, May 8th if you are interested. Please see Mrs. Thompson in the Counseling Center to sign up.
The KWQC Broadcast Scholarship is now available to graduating seniors. Applicants must be majoring in broadcast journalism. The application may be downloaded from the counseling website and has a due date of May 8.
Grease tickets are now on sale and going fast at the bookstore. Opening night is this Thursday at 7:30pm and it will run Friday and Saturday also at 7:30pm. Adult tickets are $8.00 and student tickets are $6.00. Tickets will also be sold at the door. Come join us for a night of great music and fun!
Sadies Dance pictures have arrived. Please pick them up in the main office during Period 4 and before and after school today.
A list of seniors earning departmental honors in English is posted outside the Publications Office, B216, B201, and J226. If any senior believes he or she has met the criteria but is not listed, please see Mrs. Blackall in B201 or Mr. Calhoun in B216.
Check out the Moline Public Library after school for TEEN-ucopia. There’s a variety of video games, board games, and other activities in the Teen Corner every Wednesday after school.
Due to PARCC testing, there will be no bells rung all week between periods 2 & 3, periods 5 & 6, and periods 6 & 7. Please watch the clock carefully to release students and begin classes on time.
