The New Random Acts of Kindness Club will meet for its second meeting this Monday, March 10 after school in room J222. They will be taking ideas and putting project committees together. Feel free to join them for cookies and kindness.
Attention sophomores and juniors!
Applications for next year’s Link Crew will be available beginning Wednesday, March 12th. You may pick up an application in the Counseling Center, B107, J222 and J128. Be sure to pick up the correct application – bright orange colored application for returning Link Leaders and bright yellow application for new applicants. If you are positive, reliable, and eager to make a difference at MHS, please apply! All applications must be submitted by Wednesday, March 19th.
The Don Schick Scholarship is now available. Applicants must have played football for MHS and have a 3.0 GPA. Applications may be downloaded from the Counseling website. The due date is April 1, 2014.
The following scholarships are now available from the Counseling Website:
1. The University of Illinois Balanced Man Scholarship – due April 18
2. The KWQC Broadcast Scholarship – due May 9
Any Spring tennis players or those who are interested in tennis must attend a short meeting after school on Friday in E204.
Any girl going out for track can still go out! We will meet Monday at Wharton. Dress to go outside. You must have a physical and parent permission slip.
Tickets are now on sale for this year’s musical, “How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying”. This mega-musical was last revived on Broadway 3 years ago starring Daniel Radcliffe and it is coming to our stage starring 49 of MHS’s finest actors. Altogether with crew, cast, and orchestra, our production involves nearly 100 students. Tickets are available at the MHS bookstore and all seats are reserved. The best seats will go fast! Prices are $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for students. Performances are next week: March 13, 14, & 15, at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee performance on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Don’t miss this one!!!
The Lost and Found in the Main Office is overflowing with a variety of items. Please take the time to stop in the Main Office and look through these items if you have lost something.
